The company dates back to 1954. After working for the Original Company for three years, the principal owner, Mike Macherone, Sr., purchased it and changed the name to A1 Service Plumbing, Inc. in 1977. The name was picked to emphasize the level of plumbing services he wanted to provide. Throughout the years, the principles of building a quality company remain in place, “Good Service, A Quality Product, and Stand Behind Your Work.”
The business started in a small shop where in order to get a 20-foot length of pipe inside, we would have to cut it in half. We now operate in an 8,000 sq. ft. facility. Our service area started out just in the area of Winter Park and has now expanded to cover over four counties. Throughout the growth and over the years, the ownership remains committed to servicing the plumbing needs of the area with the highest level of service we can provide.
