American Backflow Testing

American Backflow Consulting & Services was founded in 2005 by Steve and Tamra Krebs. Steve is an ABPA certified tester, a member in good standing of the Colorado Backflow Prevention Association (CBPA) and the American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA), as well as an industry educator, a consultant for several water districts, and a Febco manufacturer’s warranty technician for Colorado. Tamra is the office administrator, previous president of CBPA, a national chairperson for ABPA, and a member in good standing of ABPA, she has held backflow tester certification through the state of Colorado’s previous certification program. Our company is also a corporate member of the University of Southern California Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hydraulic Research allowing us immediate access to the Foundation’s assembly and installation approval list as utilized by most water purveyors in Colorado..

Our testers regularly attend continuing education courses. We maintain the highest standards in our equipment by calibrating our test kits twice as often as required. We keep a comprehensive inventory of parts on hand to expedite repairs in an efficient manner; and make every effort to cut our customer’s cost without sacrificing quality.
