With the help of a linear guide, a cheese loaf is to be fixed for the subsequent cutting process. The guide must meet the hygienic conditions for use in the food industry. Lubricants must not be allowed to escape. The system has a relatively weak motorization.
The Franke aluminium roller guide works maintenance-free and clean due to the food-grade stainless steel version. It is equipped with lifetime lubrication. The guide can be adjusted to the desired low sliding resistance by means of a grub screw integrated in the side of the cassette. Thus the drive cable for the guide can be reduced.
