Ron Oberkrom, his wife Sue and their four children are long time residents of Webster Groves in St. Louis County. Ron was a teacher for ten years, but in 1985, he decided to start a family business and purchased Maplewood Plumbing & Sewer.

In 1999, after graduating from college with a degree in mathematics, Ron’s son Will joined the company and has worked there full time ever since. In the true spirit of a family business, Will has childhood memories of playing in the shop and stocking parts at the old location on Sutton in Maplewood.

Maplewood Plumbing is no longer in Maplewood. The shop has moved to Watson Road in the City of St. Louis. Ron doesn’t work as much as he used to and his son Will runs the day-to-day operations. What hasn’t changed is the core building blocks behind this successful family business: exceptional quality, impeccable customer service, and fair prices for St. Louis area families.
