In 1975, Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Johnson bought into the Roto Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup franchise. At the time they were successfully running the Johnson Truck Sales Lot in Easton, Maryland. The Johnsons, like many other Americans, had the dream of expanding their ownership of different companies to help support their growing family.
