In 1946, Don Saffell opened Saffell Plumbing , in Snyder Plaza (the Park Cites area). It continued in that location until 1979 when it moved to 3901 San Jacinto in East Dallas. The company had outgrown its facility and was in need of a larger one.
In 1984 , Doug Saffell, son of Don and Louise Saffell, purchased the company from his parents. Doug grew up in the business, receiving his Journeyman license in 1965 and his Masters in 1970.
In 1996, Saffell Plumbing and Heating , Inc. , made its second move to its present location of 2515 South Second Ave. This location once again gave the company more space and better access to major highways I-30, I-20, I-35 and I-45.
Doug’s philosophy in business has always been “never try to sell anything I wouldn’t buy.” He wants all of his customers to be given the best possible service, at a fair price.
Our company is always growing, adding new faces to the Saffell family.
